Gevork Mosesi is a family physician and a landscape photographer based in San Diego, California. He discovered photography in 1995 while attending college, but it wasn't until 2004 when he decided to pursue the art of photography seriously. He has a deep appreciation for the natural world and the environment, this is why he is drawn to landscape photography. This allows him to express and share his appreciation of the North American landscapes though his eyes and the camera.

After transitioning to digital photography in mid 2004. he transitioned back to film photography in 2011-2012 as digital photography was not satisfying his artistic creativity, the photographs were “soul-less”. He utilizes various film cameras including 4x5 inch large format camera which allows for very large files once scanned. This format also allows for a slower workflow which makes him more aware of the landscape, giving him full control of the image making process, ultimately avoiding multiple unnecessary digital exposures. This yields a well thought out image. He also works with a 6x17 film panoramic camera which is essentially a large format lens exposing a 6cm x 17cm film.

Gevork is constantly exploring new landscapes when he is away from the clinic to fulfill his artistic passion. So get on board and follow gevork as he takes you on a stunning visual journey through the beautiful landscapes of north america.
