Gevork Mosesi is a landscape photographer based in San Diego, California. He discovered photography in 1995 while attending college, but it wasn't until 2004 when he decided to pursue the art of photography seriously. He has a deep appreciation for the natural world and the environment, this is why he is drawn to landscape photography. This allows him to express and share his appreciation of the North American landscapes though his eyes and the camera. 

He transitioned back to film photography in 2011-2012 as digital photography was not satisfying his artistic creativity, the photographs were “soul-less”. He utilizes various film cameras including 4x5 inch large format camera which allows for a large negative. This format also allows for a slower workflow which makes him more aware of the landscape, giving him full control of the image making process, ultimately avoiding multiple unnecessary digital exposures. This yields a well thought out image.
